THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR CENTRAL NEW YORK AND
NORTHEAST PENNSYLVANIA.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

A STRONG STORM SYSTEM DEVELOPING OVER THE CENTRAL PART OF THE
COUNTRY WILL SLOWLY DRIFT NORTHEASTWARD THROUGH THE END OF THE
WEEK. RAIN IN ASSOCIATION WITH THIS FEATURE IS EXPECTED TO ARRIVE
ACROSS NORTHEASTERN PA AND CENTRAL NY OVERNIGHT THURSDAY. THIS
SYSTEM
WILL BE VERY SLOW MOVING WITH ALL INDICATIONS SUGGESTING THAT
PERIODS OF HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BECOME MORE AND MORE LIKELY BY
EARLY SATURDAY MORNING. SEVERAL ROUNDS OF HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE
POSSIBLE THROUGH THE UPCOMING WEEKEND BEFORE THE SYSTEM FINALLY
BEGINS TO EXIT TO THE EAST BY EARLY NEXT WEEK. THE COMBINATION OF
HEAVY RAINFALL ALONG WITH A MELTING SNOW PACK MAY LEAD TO AREAS OF
FLOODING ALONG AREA RIVERS AND STREAMS. ALL SHOULD STAY TUNED TO
SUBSEQUENT FORECASTS UPDATES FOR THE LATEST INFORMATION REGARDING
THIS DEVELOPING SITUATION.
